Ros Harvey comes from Malin, Inishowen, Co.Donegal in Ireland.

She spent her childhood roaming the coastal shores and harbours, which have led her into the feeling and atmosphere of the elements, earth, wind, fire and water. Her paintings, using the medium of Pastels has enabled her to capture the translucency of the quickly changing light and moods of the subjects she experiments with in her paintings.

Ros is a Senior Member of The Royal Ulster Academy, and The Pastel Society of Ireland.
She has exhibited internationally and had major one-man shows in Dublin, Galway and Co.Louth.

She has been a Guest exhibitor, and selected artist for International Pastel Exhibitions in France for the past four years.

Ros is happy to take on commissions, which have led to the publication of 7 books of full illustrations.

Her work is mostly sold through the showroom and gallery at Ballagh Studios, Malin, which she set up with her partner Tim Stampton, a printer, wood engraver and small bookmaker.
